$1000 to win for Sport Mods Highlight Enid Speedway Memorial Sunday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma - May 20, 2012 – This Memorial Sunday Night features yet another night of racing action atop the Garfield County Fairgrounds as Speedway’s Inc. presents the “Bob Howard PDC and Mopar Memorial Weekend” of racing highlighted by the $1000 to win for southern sport modified division at Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma. Also competing will be the street stock, factory stock and pure stock divisions.
National Championship Racing Association rules apply for this huge southern sport modified event however it will not be a sanctioned event.
The originally scheduled Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) sprint car event that was scheduled for this event was rescheduled. With work still being done on the track’s lighting system and not being able to assure OCRS officials and teams the tracks lighting system would be ready to go, track officials and OCRS officials have ppd. this sprint car event to a later date to be announced.
Gates will open at 3:00 pm with racing action set for a 5:05 pm start time. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $5 for ages 6-10.
Enid Speedway is located 2.5 miles north of U.S. Hwy. 412 on U.S. Hwy. 81, then 0.5 mile east on West Oxford (at the Garfield County Fairgrounds).
