New tidbits business sponsor Western Flyer Sport Mods has put a huge IMCA name into one of their sport mod chassis for the 2010 race season. Keith White of Little River Acadamy, Texas has purchased one of the Curtis Allen built chassis and will utilize it for the 2010 IMCA southern sport mod season. Jeff Jackson is another person very instrumental Keith is fresh off winning his fourth out of five IMCA southern sport mod championships. Mark Robinson, a 2008 Brill Motor Speedway limited modified champion has also purchased a WF sport mod and will reportedly pick and choose his races for the 2010 race season. Make sure to make plans now for the 25th Silver Anniversary Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on Tuesday through Saturday night, January 11-15, 2011.Creek County Speedway and new owner Jackie Green is gearing up for huge special event season at the reshaped, newly renovated quarter mile clay oval. Not only will the track host a NCRA/MARSDirt Car late model event on Friday night, May 7th, they will also host a OCRS show Saturday night, June 12th, a SMP speedeek show Thursday night, July 15th, NCRA Oklahoma modified show on Saturday night, July 26 and a just announced USMTS show on Thursday night, March 18th. Looks like have plenty of chances to catch some special events at Creek this 2010 race season. All of these are not counting the expected ASCS Sooner region events.

New Enid Motor Speedway LLC. promoter Kip Hughes has announced a $10,000 to win southern sport mod national event for March 18-21, 2010 in the biggest paying sport mod race in Oklahoma history. Now officially IMCA sanctioned with their sport mods, sport compacts and hobby stocks, Wild West Speedway in Clinton will host an IMCA sport mod regional race as part of the tracks 2010 Sooner Roundup, to be held on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, March 20-21, 2010. You can check out more detailed information and payout for all days by logging onto their website www.clintonmotorsportspark.com. Modifieds and factory stocks will also be competing as well as a IMCA points race for the series northern sport mod division. IMCA drivers are all about picking up series points so look for a solid field of southern sport mods from not only Oklahoma but Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico - the only areas of the country that run southern sport mods. The track will be a new track ad sponsor and I will have their track ad posted as soon as it is sent to me.
Wild West Speedway will be running twice a week in 2010 with go-karts, mini sprints and quads on Friday night and $1000 to win modifieds, IMCA sport mods, IMCA sport compacts, IMCA hobby stocks and factory stocks.
Coming into their 40th anniversary season, the O'Reilly Auto Parts National Championship Racing Association has hired long-time Enid driver, mechanic and builder Milt David as their 2010 tech inspector for the Oklahoma modified and southern modified divisions. Milt will not officially work the Cowtown February FAST 50 Oklahoma modified season opener but will be on hand. Cowtown will have their own officials for this event and are thorough. His first official day on the job will be Saturday night, March 13th at Elk Citys I-40 Speedwa y in Elk City with both the NCRA Oklahoma modifieds and the season opener for the southern modifieds in competition.

Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada Promoter George Welch is putting the final touches of information on his $10,000 to win Stock Car Nationals for October 1-3, 2010 and official information will be released then. Don't forget his annual Spring Fling kicks off the Oklahoma Sports Park 2010 season on Friday and Saturday night, April 2-3.
Danny Womack, co-owner of Outlaw Motor Speedway, has leased Tri-State Speedway in Pocola for the 2010 race season. "It came as a complete shock to everybody," according to one inside source. Details have not been released but on the heels of Outlaws NASCAR sanctioned announcement two weeks ago, don't be surprised if Tri-State becomes NASCAR sanctioned as well.
Greg Deatherage, event promotor for the OKC and Kansas Trade Show and Auction, has announced his annual OKC trade show dates will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 one week before the Chili Bowl while the Kansas trade show will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Wichita, Kansas.
